New York Sexual Harassment Prevention

Sexual harassment has received a lot of media attention in recent years. This has raised awareness of how unacceptable this conduct is, and the serious consequences that can follow. There are also sweeping legal changes to tackle this issue. New York is one of several states with mandatory sexual harassment prevention training in workplaces, required by law. This course meets the training requirements for New York State employees. It teaches legal definitions of “sexual harassment” and types of behavior it includes. The course covers ways that individuals and organizations can prevent sexual harassment, and how to respond if it occurs, including remedies for victims.
